Learn from the Pros - Under the guidance of entertainment professionals your students will develop fundamentals, reinforce performance concepts and fine‐tune techniques with a fun hands-on session.

DISNEY DANCIN'
Performers find out what it takes to be an integral member of a cohesive dance cast as they learn techniques to help maximize their rehearsal time and deliver a focused performance. Begin with a simulated Disney audition led by a professional Disney dancer then learn how the magic is created as dancers go through a rehearsal of a real Disney show. The 2 1/2-hour workshop culminates in a finale performance incorporating all of the elements they have learned.  Your Disney clinician will also share industry insights to give dancers a competitive edge as they:

Rehearse routines from several Disney shows to explore different choreography styles.
Learn how to choose the proper attire for an audition and how to stand out from the crowd.
Discover tips for creating an effective resume and getting the best possible pictures.
Find out how versatility and the right attitude can open doors to opportunity.
Examine professional dance from the perspectives of a show director, producer and choreographer. 

DISNEY DANCIN' - YOUNG PERFORMER EDITION
Learn how the magic is created as performers view memorable dancing moments from Disney films then run through a mock rehearsal of a real Disney show under the direction of a professional Disney dancer. At its conclusion, dancers discover what it takes to be an integral member of a cohesive dance cast in a finale performance.

In this 90-minute workshop, dancers utilize existing skills and develop new ones as you:
Become familiar with Disney steps and style.
Learn how to quickly put together a performance-ready presentation.
Focus on having fun and connecting with an audience.
Find out how versatility and the right attitude can open doors to opportunity. 

DANCE TECHNIQUES: BALLET, HIP-HOP, JAZZ and TAP
Designed for intermediate to advanced ensembles, these 90-minute workshops feature personalized instruction from some of the best choreographers in the world. Whether it is ballet, hip hop, jazz, or tap, you choose the style for your group to concentrate on, and we take it from there. Your choreographer will customize a course to your group's skill level and create rewarding challenges for all of its dancers.  Your group will discover what it's like to be a professional dancer as they:

Dance, alone and with others, while rehearsing and performing a Disney number.
Discuss performance concepts and fine-tune existing techniques.
Learn tricks of the trade that make for show-stopping performances. 

ACTING 101
Designed for all levels of actors, this 90-minute workshop provides students with the building blocks of theatre, while exploring performance and storytelling techniques. Led by an industry show director or improvisational actor, the course focuses on tapping into the artist's unique voice, thereby discovering the tools to develop performance abilities. Students also learn to build character, develop improvisational skills, and maintain professionalism on the stage.Your group will engage in interactive discussions and acting exercises as they:

Master the building blocks of basic theatre, performance and storytelling techniques.
Use scene study as a vehicle for introducing and building character.Practice improvisational skills while discovering how to maintain professionalism on stage.
Learning how to think and act spontaneously and assertively, no matter what the situation, is an ability that will serve any student well on stage—and beyond. 

DISNEY'S BROADWAY MAGIC
Theatre groups, drama clubs, dance studios and show choirs, this is the workshop for you! Created in partnership with Disney on Broadway, this is 2 1/2-hour session blends Disney magic with the glitz of live musical theatre. Students perform a number from a Broadway musical and learn about the elements required to bring one together, including music, staging, costuming and props.  A professional Disney performer will take your group through the same rehearsal process used for Disney Broadway musicals, during which they will:

Emphasize the importance of a proper warm-up before any performance or rehearsal.
Rehearse choreography by lyrics rather than by counts.
Focus on breath control and diction integrated with movement.
Learn how to make appropriate vocal/acting choices for a musical composition and its lyrics.
Analyze what makes a musical different from a play.
Examine how body language, facial expressions and vocal dynamics are key elements in defining story and character.
Discover techniques for quickly learning and remembering movement and lyrics.
Discuss the roles of director, music director, stage manager, technical crew and choreographer.
Understand the purpose of blocking and staging and learn theatre-staging terminology. 

TECHNIQUES of TEAMWORK through IMPROVISATION
In this three hour program at Epcot®, students in grades 6-12 gain insights into how improvisational theories can be applied to real-life situations at home, school or in future careers. Every student plays a role in a mock production and they are taught professional communication techniques that, with practice, help build confidence, unleash creativity and cultivate teamwork. During this interactive field study, students will:

Harness the group's dynamics and build team cohesion.
Acknowledge the role of trust, creativity and teamwork in developing an effective improvisational performance.
Gain a greater understanding of the dynamics of successful improvisation.
Apply knowledge, skills and improvisational rules and tools to create an entertaining atmosphere that showcases teamwork and a cohesive story arc.
Build performance relationships to create an atmosphere where their creativity and self confidence flourishes.
Support one another as audience members and as performers.
